Nicola spoke to Josh MacAlister MP, Minister for Children and Families at the UK Department for Education about her mission to introduce baby passports for young babies who are transported through the care system.
The Minister had seen my Early Day Motion on the Foster care system edm.parliament.uk/early-day-motion/66033 and personally asked to meet Nicola to discuss the issue.
I am so proud to support Nicola as she takes this important campaign forward, and look forward to continuing to support her in the future as she continues the campaign to give babies and children in care a voice.
It was lovely to meet with local organisations at the Citizens Advice Wellbeing and Benefits Event at the Aurora Centre today.
There are a range of local organisations including Nottinghamshire Women’s Aid, BCVS, NHS Talking Therapies, Bassetlaw District Council, Bassetlaw Action Centre and more.
